My fondest Memory of Pooraka - a story by FC

Round 1, 2006, our first game back in div 3 after convincingly winning the div 4 premiership the previous year (let me build the story here..)

Anyhoo, 1st game for 2006 was against Pooraka, at Pooraka. every time they kicked a goal, all we would get from the players would be the shout of " WELCOME TO DIV 3 PAYNEHAM" with the 2 fingered salute. Now we got flogged by 10 goals that day..

But we know how it turned out in the end...GOOD LUCK IN DIV 4 POORAKA!!!

well that is true, unfortunately it all seemed to go downhill for you guys once Coghill left. He was a big loss last year.

I've read lots of posts talking about past great players at the Bulls but I had a blast from the past the other day when I saw a bloke that was as tough and as good as the more celebrated players from Pooraka.
Frankie Mascolo, he was just finishing up when I started but he was a ripper. Blokes like Dittmar and Fulgrabe used to set them up but Frankie was right in there as far as impact on a game and shit he could hurt you physically. He was definately one of Danny Harringtons favourites. Anyone remember him?
