Will be sad to see Uni down in DIv 2 in 2008 if it happens like that!

I know PHOSC and Uni had some cracking battles and looks like they may meet again next year.

I have said it b4 on here but i reckon they should only be able to play low grade anyways. They need to do something for Amateur footy besides poaching players, Best thing is the blacks going down a division.. Hopefully they keep dropping but i know it wont happen all the stuck up doctors and lawyers will put their hands into their deep pockets and bail them out!!!

Well our season is done and dusted at least with regards to Div1 and we naturally hope our Division 2 sabatical is short one. It seems our demise gives some as much pleasure as it does us pain but that's the way it is and we'll cop it on the chin and move on.
Kookas, on more than one occasion other Uni posters have asked you to qualify your thoughts but you simply reply like a five year old with - because, Is not, didn't hurt, sticks and stones, Is not, I said it first, Is so, you're not the boss of me.
Mate, you're boring. You offer no substance to your thoughts which are negative on a good day and really reeks of someone who has an insignificant disposition. At least say something of some significance, readers of this medium aren't going to think you're any more sillier than they do now just by offering an opinion.
Your post that reasons we should go down because it happens to all clubs is shite, it's not a reason son, I hung up first na na na na.

blacks130 dont jump just yet, all good clubs need to go through the good and bad times, this time uni is going through a bad time, just make sure it is a quick bounce back not like a Kilburn who has gone from Div 1 about 3 years ago to now be going to Div 3. I always enjoy playing against uni, playing on number 455 or 350 or some other high number

You really have something against Pearcey, or just Gepps Cross in general don't you?

How come its alright for Pearcey to start this thread with a rumour but we cant comment when the shoe is on the other foot?
Where is the fairness in this?
As far as hating Pearcey goes I dont even know the man so therefore I could not hate him.
I just find it amusing that he is happy to defend his club even though they have made a dumb decision in sacking their coach mid season because of a personality conflict with what every club knows is a loud mouth bar manager and now he finds himself on the outer with his employer.
Lets be honest Gepps Cross does not have a good reputation.

I was referring to the 5AA comment, what does that have to do with Gepps Cross's supporters, facilities or former coach?

Sounded like a personal shot to me, thats all...

Keep the personal stuff to yourself footynut, then it is fair.

There is a thread in the entertainment section relating to Pearcy, go there if you must (I have a personal issue with the existance of that thread altogether, but at least it is on topic).

I predict Adel Uni will drop down to A2 within the next 5 years , Not paying players at A1 level will eventually leave you will a average squad . When you are not winning and not playing finals it makes it even harder to retain players which then has a snowball effect and you dont get the quality players wanting to play there for the success .

Roach was never the right man for the job and if my mail is correct Ben Hart will be player coach in 2008 .

Hafey, aren't you on top of things at the minute. Unless you've been trapped on the moon for the last 72 hours it wouldn't take Nostradamus to predict we're going to Div2 next year let alone with in the next 5 years. Also, if your mail had any idea they'd know that we've already appointed Roach for 08 unless there's some conspiracy for Ben Hart to replace Finn as C1 coach. Clearly by the tone of your previous posts and expressing your disdain for Roach you've been on the end of a wipping by one of the sides he's coached or you simply weren't good enough to play in one of his sides. At the risk of sounding repetative, Tony Roach has been a revalation for our A grade in a season where things haven't gone our way both on and off the field for whatever reason. For a team to suffer the losses we have and for him to still hold it together as well as he has is a credit to him. So Roach was always the right man for job given our current situation, the ignoramus's in the wider football community just couldn't see it, hey Hafey
