We have also been trying to get funding for years to get upgrades to our club rooms. Im sure Golden Grove will get it if the work has already started.

The Coalition would've done the same thing re. the binge drinking hype. Nobody actually thinks the two major political parties are actually different from each other? Rhetorical question. Answer is no. Back to the footy?

Dogwatcher, you would have seen me at the BDO, but not regularly. You know me very well - think jumping into your old brown swimming pool, beating you in U10's (go the units!), #43, & "John Jarvis'. Duncs, the B's were good last year and should be very competitive again. Trial at home v Two Wells this Sat, B's 12.30, A's 2.15.

Great to see you on here mate.
Someone with some obvious intelligence finally. ;)

OMG - my swimming pool. It was brown cos I spewed in it so often!
As for under 10s (we didn't have 10s, Mouse, Lee Nic and I had to go up a grade), try under 13s I reckon. That day against Units I prefer not to talk about.
But it was a wake up call - we went on to win the flag the next year!

There's a few other blokes on here you would know too.

At the very least you should talk to The Rooster and Crackers.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

having being part of that league for many years i would say the APFL in top flight could be a div 3 amature league team but theres a gap between the top 5 teams and the bottom 2

Golden Grove trial vs Ardrossan yesterday

GG: 19.20.134
def
ARD: 8.2.50

I was expecting a bit more of a spectacle playing a country side and all but our a's boys looked really good apart from a poor second quarter.
Had 4 best of our best 21 out as well. The lads from the league clubs looked really good. Seemed to fit in really well. Added some extra pace to the side. Cameron Shenton in particular. Be nice to have them around all year but unlikley.

Lets see if we can get within 6 goals of salisbury next week. That will be the real test of where we are at in the grand scheme of things. Should give a good measuring stick for where the club wants to be in a few years.
