Umpires didn't help the situation on field, they looked to scared to pay a free kick against CU all day...even admitted to seeing frees off the ball but not calling them.

Yesterday had the potential to get very much out of control i'm just glad some people had some cool heads.
Mr M I don't blame you for leaving mate I wouldn't want to be apart of that environment either.

Takes two to tango and your runner would have not been bumping a 16 year old kid, would he! I think both clubs had things they would regret!

You must confuse bumping with him putting his body in the middle of 2 players trying to separate them as they were having a crack at each other while they were leaving the field...trust me champ we having nothing to regret. ;)

Just for a bit of balance...a particular lakers player in the B grade was intent on knocking someone out all day...A few wild fist swings eventually ended in a send off...Lets not pretend that the lakers are a team of angels....

At least we wont abuse a player in need of a stretcher you guys made me sick when you did that so dont try saying the Lakers this the lakers that the real issues is your response to a player being injured so your club need to have a good hard look at its self before you say anything about another club

As i said before i know we're no angels...I didn't see much of the B grade but have been told and can assure you that player has been spoken to by the club and been dealt with, he will not be playing for a while I don't condone that sort of sh!te.

i hope this wasn't who i think it may be Riddler...

If the incident occured exactly as you are saying then I agree, it is disgraceful (I was not around for the entire day)...Please dont tarnish everyone at CU with the same brush....I'm sure every club has players and supporters that embarrass a club from time to time...I would not have even posted my previous post if the mudslinging was not started from one of you guys...CU often get a bashing on this forum and sometimes it is warranted, however, sometimes the truth seems to get distorted by predetermined opinons of the club..

Yes, I'm quite certain supporters of ALL clubs can go overboard sometimes.

it doesn't matter if the supporters were doing it, its about the Officials from CU abusing the player instead of getting the stretcher.

Certainly a lot of love in this thread!

Some cracker games this week...

Modbury v Tea Tree Gully - Massive rivalry, C1 grand finalists from last year, had to play 2 GF's last year, certainly no love loss between these 2 clubs...expect a close game
Flinders University v Sacred Heart - Should be to strong
Mawson Lakes v Athelstone - Game of the round for me, both teams will play finals, athlestone will look to bounce back after last week and will get up in a close one
Central United v Glenunga - Down at CU, CU should get up
Adelaide University v Angle Vale - should be to strong for Angle Vale

Does DJ really need to have loyalties to just one club? Especially when the clubs don't play each other. He may have played most his life at one club, but taken up a position/non-playing role in another club - doesn't mean he automatically doesn't like the club he played for in his younger days. Surely he can have an opinion and see things from both clubs he has been involved in.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!
