Things look promising at Noth Haven then.... They must be spending a little but for these players to come to the club? Karamanlis has been at Districts for 20 years.... I have seen Lippo play a bit, he will be handy as well. Rowdy still there?

it is absurd what people think Nth Haven are paying, im not sure if people are just taking the piss, but people are actually believing this stuff. One player that is now with Portland went to Haven and asked for a absurd figure based on what he had heard others were getting and was shown the door. The truth is that most of the paid players are on at most $1500 a game

I spoke with someone from North Haven (very much in the know) and he confirmed last year that they were paying between 1500 and 1800 a week. Now thats alot of money to be paying Div 4 footballers.....
I could see Kara leaving Districts he played a bit of B grade last year and probably would have played alot of B grade this year had he stayed at Districts.

Was only stirring the pot. Its all true, Havens invested in a small company selling handbags online which took off, sold thousands in and around the portland area and now have a football budget that would rival Chelsea and Real Madrid

If you are talking about Dylan Frank, i believe Nth Haven chased him, and he went and met with them at there request. They asked him what he wanted and he told them, they said they couldnt do it, no big deal. So he is playing with his mates at Portland for nothing....

Mate, to be honest, there is nothing wrong with chasing blokes and offering coin - as long as you get the results to back it up. Guys always exagerate what they are on, we all know that. But clubs always down play what they are paying - the truth would be somewhere in the middle.
One of your players started the rumour himself that he was getting a massive amount of cash. Cox would be getting a sh!t load, especially now that he has agreed to play for you. You cannot drop what you originally offered him on his contract, otherwise he would have grounds to leave. Thats the rule.

Anyway, why let facts get in the way of a good stir! Like i said, good luck to ya.

I agree felch, I like the banter. Isn't that the point of this forum. I dont know anything about what Coxy gets paid but like Frank at Portland some of Coxys best mates play at Haven and that had a lot to do with him coming back.
