With the U/19 comp now defunct there should be heaps of young guys available. Do some digging for names/numbers or is Danny & his committee beyond that?[/quote]

Are you sooking too?

No-one is forcing players to leave. How is taking 19 year olds away from their home clubs any worse than taking some mercenaries away from GX?

What if they want someone older than 19?

Grow up lads.

Seems a few people out there are taking the 'moral high ground' on player recruitment as if I believe these same clubs/people have never poached a player...what a joke

For everyone's info...yes we are trying to recruit as most clubs do at this time of year...and if we talk to a player from your club and he is happy with his lot then he will say NO THANKS if on the other hand he is not happy (thats not our fault by the way) then they may wish to talk to us further and may decide that greenies is a better option for them...build a bridge guys we are doing nothing wrong

and yes we are talking to u19's is that ok.....probably so long as they are not on your list right.

And I dont think NAFC mind how or where we spend OUR money
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

Interesting text from your coach to our club as well on this matter

PS no one from greenies has come on this site and said we dont pay players, in fact it seems common knowledge that we do, but that is not coming from us either.

And pay rather well too, but if you got the cash why not, as long as you get the right players i no of one good pick up you boys have got.

Sleep?

I WILL CONFIRM THAT GREENIES HAVE APPROACHED SOME PARA HILLS PLAYERS WHICH INTURN HAS LED TO TERRY SLEEP SIGNING ON WITH GREENIES.. FOR WAT AMOUNT? HE REFUSES TO REVEAL...

Chalk another one up to Shrek! I am a genius. Sleep will be a massive pick up for them. Wasn't he Para Hills' captain? Not very loyal!

NICE PICK UP BY THEM.. GREENIES MAY BE THE DARKHORSE NEXT SEASON.. I KNOW THERE RECRUITING PRETTY HEAVILY AND FROM WAT I'VE READ, THEY GOT SOME COIN TO THROW AROUND.. SLEEPY WAS PART OF THE LEADERSHIP GROUP AND V.C FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND FILLED IN AS CAPTAINED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS.. PLAYED 100+ GAMES FOR PARA HILLS SO NOT DOUBTING HIS LOYALTY THERE... I'VE SPOKEN TO HIM AND DONT KNOW THE EXACT REASON FOR LEAVING BUT MAYBE A CHANGE OF SCENERY IS WAT HE NEEDED...

I got told it was Bennett, not Sleep. But good get for Greenies and a big loss for Para Hills.

Why would I be at training Shrek? According to the Div 3 thread I should be more worried about we're doing, didn't sound all that accommodating?

Footballfollower is a big fluffy bear once you get to know him Pag. He may even be there tomorrow. Your welcome to come out.

I see Sharkys is online. Will he be there tomorrow or will he be at West Adelaide's training?

Apparently Greenies haven't had it all their own way in the recruiting stakes.

At the SAAFL presentation night in the dunnies someone from Greenacres asked Josh Coulter to come over and said they'd "make it worth his while".

Well Turk, Josh must be happy with his lot. Not only did he say 'NO THANKS', he told them to '**** off!' as well.

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
