How does a lad from GAZA Willy Banton go, he's been picked up
by United in the plains and not alot of info on him.

He was Gaza's number one ruckman, however did miss a few games through injury. Was also thrown around the ground a bit, and did not have much impact when resting up forward. If I was his coach, i'd be playing him him pretty much exclusively as a ruckman. I think he finds it hard to read the play as a forward as he hasn't been playing footy all that long.

He won Gaza the game in the final match of the season against Goodwood through his bustling ruck style. Can have a real stinker of a match every now and again though.

Yeah more of them than good games!

Well wouldn't you know it!

Goodie Saints just happen to be in the right spot once again to sign 2 ex league players from West Adelaide according to the Sunday Mail, Murray Hamblin and Luke Donaldson
Please bear in mind, they are not getting paid,(because we don't do that!), they're playing because they love the jumper, singing the club song , the nice people, the size of the oval, the food from the kitchen and all the other drawcards the club has to offer which may include a very well paid job somewhere.

I don't have any idea whether they are getting paid or not but Luke is in a pretty well paid position already with an accounting firm and i don't think money would be his biggest issue, in saying that i am sure he is getting some.

Is there not just an incy wincy chance that the players looked at their careers and said "shite, if I want to play in a premiership before I retire where will I go?". Now I don't know what your rationale would be but given Goodwood's recent history and that is not open to question, that'd be the place I'd go?.

I see Matt Oliver has turned up for the BIGGER bucks at Roopena. He's had more clubs than he's had clean undies too.
Must be trying to outdo the infamous Marc Cox by being at nearly every club in SA.

Is it possible that these 2 are brothers?

MM, I think it's a matter of playing with your mates but they are all ex Centrals at some stage.
Not sure about the first bit, if what i read on here about him is true, he may well be "just looking"

Stengle played reserves with the McLeans, Officer, Hudson and Capogreco, not sure whether that's the link that saw him at Gepps or not.
