true, but what you have just said i have been saying on this forum for ages but certain supporters, or players on here tend to get upset. so you can tell which club is throwing the cash around when they respond

simon croucher didnt play this season but told me through the week he was offered "very good coin" in his words, to play next year.

fair call plugger..and against plympton we have had some seriously bad days as well..we will be relying on juniors more than anything the next 3-4 years so the recruiting starts at home as well

Heard pretty much the same as you Milo about new coach at IF. I have talked to 3 or 4 younger players who are quite seriously looking at other options for next year. don't know about lower div., 2 of these boys could play A grade at a higher level. Shame, they could have had a really good coach right under their noses who would have got a lot of old farmers back involved and he coached most of the kids at junior level. he has busted his ass for years at the club and never got the thanks he deserves. seems the execs at this club let personal opinions get in the way of good judgement. I thought the footy committee was elected to make footy decisions not the execs. Funny how things work down there hey undertaker

simon can command good dollars and rightly so and has been offered some to go country but he hasnt been offered any money from kfc and has told the club if he plays there this year then that will be the case

test: he is a top shelf player and his absence this year had a dramatic effect on the team coupled with osborn only playing 2 games..he would be welcomed back obviously

they had a really good coach last year ,dasha and didnt reappoint him, prob a mistake but only time will tell.....they also had a great c grade coach in robbie pearce, and didnt appoint him, i know he wanted to coach again, abeit the a s or the c s,(didnt know the b grade coach so wont comment on him) but didnt get a look in either way so niven smart and green all must be exceptional coaches...as i said time will tell....
THE NEW ERA BEGINS.....HIRD AND THOMPSON.....EX CAPTAINS EX CHAMPIONS EX.....cellent choice

Agree, the loss of Cruncher was massive last year. In fact i would say if we had the side we had in 2007 in 2008 we would have figured alot higher on the table this year as I beleive the standard of div 5 this year was not as strong as it was in 2007. But saying that yes I agree we have only just held on over the past few years. We seriously struggled this year and in a way we done ok to win 4 games because the rest we got smashed and deservidly so. Some lazy tendancies became apparent through out the club and I hope the coaching staff are going to rectify it. I guess we will see next year.....

well it doesnt matter to anyone but him anyway but like i said he told me through he week he was offered good money to go back, not saying its true only simon and your footy club would know the truth, knowing him tho im pretty surprised he would play for nothing. maybe as his getting older he just wants to help the club out?
