Salisbury Oval won't be moving anywhere I wouldn't think mate, regardles of what the NDCC choose to do. There has just been huge investments made with brand new, SACA-standard lights put in, with upgrades to the scoreboard and possibly changerooms/grandstand/toilets in the next couple of years. Plus the fact it's the heart of the recreation precinct with St Jays Rec Centre, the Bowling Club and the Croquet Club, wouldn't seem like a logical move to take it out on that basis either.'00'02'03'07 wrote:Will be interested to see what timeline that has been put on the move off Salisbury Oval down to the old Bridgestone site that I heard was in the pipeline (obviously talking years down the line) now that the district cricket side is going to be moving into a new complex in the Playford council area in the near future.
Lots of good memories playing in Grand Finals on Salisbury oval.
I have heard this hitting the rounds this week.
