Port Districs Vs PNU Saturday

2 Quarters of C Grade

4 Quarters of B grade

4 Quarters of A grade

Long day, i hear the A grade are stopping for meals and presentations at half time

Does that sort of sarcasm come naturally or did you have to do a special course to obtain that trait?

Where did you get that from? Our coach is Jason Roe, not Mark Williams!

I hope your daughter is intelligent enough to stick with the young Ram, she must get her brains from her Mum.

Pag, since you are a Salisbury lad, of course I'll buy you a beer. Look me up, we'll have a beer and a chat, probably dismantle Shrek or Jimmy or give Bubbula the works, what do ya' reckon, good idea?

Lads, you know what newspaper reporters are like, they only write what they think you want to hear.
Could it be a ploy, something to throw everyone off the scent of the Rams.
By the way, good luck with the little fella out there this year, he'll cause the coach some headaches. Hardly got a touch on Sat and was running around like an 'ill directed dog' telling his ex team mates how good he is. The only touch he almost got was when the mini scuffle was on, he actually tried to sink the slipper. He's been suspended for doing that before so it's nothing new to him.

For those that haven't seen it, this is the actual quote:
Roey: "We're not here to win a premiership straight away. I wouldn't discount us but over the next two to three years we need to get better and better".

Ace you can keep the beer if you can get Roey to play Cappa out of a back pocket. ;)

I didn't see that but it could be taken in a couple of different ways I think and Roey's a fairly "laid back" bloke.
Maybe he's trying to keep the pressure off the younger lads and obviously you would want improvement in a group provided you can keep them together for long enough. I think that's Goodies secret to be honest.
I know he and Jamie Thomas had a great chat after the game for a couple of hours, no doubt both were analysing the good and bad of the trial games, a great bloke Jamie!

Why should there be any pressure??? Remember GF's are not won in March mate!!!!
If anyone has pressure it's the teams that finished above Gepps last season..
Only room to approve than!!! What's with the netball call slightly over the top!!!

MM, 100% correct, nothing wrong with it at all and I'm not too sure where Lads is heading with the 'netball' reference. A lot of netballers would have his 'goolies on a plate' because their game has pressure as well.
You know what they say about pressure, people handle it differently so why create it unnecessarily, it also builds diamonds.

So therefore you're happy to skip winning a premiership this year as long as you win one in the next 2 or 3 years?
