Plus there would be more of an attraction to play for Mawson Lakes then there would SPOS.

Surely its only a matter of time.

Just have SPOS on the back of guernseys as Houghten have done with BPOS.

Very much on the cards Browny but we wanted to establish ourselves down there first and then this will be on the agenda for sure 1 or 2 years down the track...At the moment the oval is a year by year thing so as soon as we get confirmation we'll be there for the long haul (looking very likely) I can't see any reason to keep the name.

I think you guys would be very wise to change your name to Mawson Lakes over the next few years. Be one of the first sporting clubs to establish them selves in the suburb (could be wrong about that). Would give the club a real sense of belonging in the area. I believe that Nth Pines should look at changing there Football team name to Parafield Gardens Football Club. People just dont associate Nth Pines with any area.

With (if) Mitchell Park going up and Houghton seem to be struggling i cant see anyone getting close!

No way we deserve favouritism after last years performances...Angle Vale are going about their business quietly and played finals footy last year, they could be a smokey!

How about Brahma Lodge are they going to be in div 6 or 7. if they are in div 7 then will be a very tough side to beat i would think with the players that payney has attracted to their club

Always wondered where the name North Pines originated from?

Will there be a return from a former club stalwart??

Post on the Div5 forum says that Horsell has signed with Rosewater. Know anything about this, Bradman?

By the sounds of it there is no way known that Ovingham will be in Div 7.Don't you think if they were going to have two teams we'd have heard a lot more from Bubbula? They're only training once a week and they struggle to get 20 on the track. It's a waste of time even mentioning them on this thread!

35.2 C Division teams shall be promoted and relegated according to the promotion and relegation of the A Division teams and D Division teams shall be structured according to play with their C Division teams where possible.
35.3 Subject to Clauses 34.3 and 34.4 herein the Member Clubs playing off in the Grand Final in each Division, not being a reserve Division, shall be promoted to the Division above their current Division in the following season.
35.4 No two teams from any one Member Club shall in any one year be in the same Division.
35.5 Either of the Member Clubs playing off in the Grand Final may choose not to be promoted in the following season provided that such an option has not been exercised by that Member Club in the previous season and that a Member Club occupying either of the lowest two positions on the premiership table at the end of the minor round of matches in the Division above the Member Clubs to be promoted chooses to remain in the same Division for the following season provided such Member Club has not exercised this option in the previous season.

That's pretty good news. At least that club has made better stick of it than Ovingham or Wingfield.
