He's a lot like other former Ovingham players TT, except he went by another handle!
We saw him first hand at Gepps and he's not that good, not good enough to play anything higher than Div 4 reserves.

Had more skill and determination then most of you dismal B grade side in 2006... Club politics kept most C Graders from playing higher that year.

Oh here we go again, same old crutch! So what about the politics at Ovingham?
You weren't there long enough to worry about them MM, it's in your nature to remain a "moving target"

Moving target... If that means what I think it means it is a harsh suggestion towards someone who knows where you work, drink and live dont you think :S Who cares about Ovingham!!! They to brought it on themselves... That talk isnt for this forum though. :)

'Moving target' is quite simple to work out. Just ask yourself how many clubs you've had in the last 10 years and you'll understand..
If the middle sentence is meant as a 'veiled threat", I am aware of your past letter to my employer and it won't work a second time."

Im deadset when I say this. I dont know what letter you are talkign about. Maybe someone sent it saying they were me because they didnt have the balls to put there own name on it. But it 110% was not me behind any letter sent to your employer

Why by hiring Chris Newman as coach as letting him bring a bunch of blokes to the club for instant success then Ovingham being ripped off and leaving them broke and the the merry men leaving for greener pastures again ala wingfield??

Thats a disgusting comment to make. No club in no competition deserves that! Maybe you should leave your post to div 4

5/5 for me and Unknown Source owes me a house ;)

The Mawson Lakes Saints headed North on Saturday, venturing up to Angle Vale to take on the Owls at Trinity College. The undefeated Saints were favourites to beat the Owls, but previous contests between the two clubs had all resulted in close finishes. This looked like being the case early, as the home side led by Jarrod Gordon and Nicholas Hook seized the moment of a 1st quater breeze. Gordon was particularly damaging putting the Saints defence under enormous pressure as the Angle Vale forwards took full advantage of the wind. Quater time couldn't come quick enough for the Saints seeing them down by 2 goals at the first break, and a deserved spray from the Coaches. Things started to click for the Saints during the 2nd term, as Rob O'Gorman and Nathan Bruce-Gordon dominated the midfield while tall targets Mark Chilvers and Travis Smits were working themselves into the match. However the home side held firm and despite going against the breeze, trailed by 2 goals and within distance at the long break. The 3rd quater was clearly the Saints best for the year, as dominant Ruckmen Myles Cooper and new RAAF recruit Glen Mackie were destroying an opposition clearly missing their regular Ruckman Scott Burgess. Ivan Novosel had been well held for a half, but broke clear in the 3rd and kicked some clever goals and was well supported up forward by Clinton Stagg and Damien Montfrooy. In a stunning game break, Mawson Lakes kicked 11 goals to Nil during this 3rd term to completely finish the match as a contest. The Saints ran out 97 point winners and into some good form before taking on the Modbury Hawks at Mawson Lakes Hotel Oval as it celebrates it's Past Players Day. Angle Vale were undoubtly disappointed by their 2nd half effort, and it was interesting to see the Owls past coach phoning up the current coach (during the 3rd term!) in an animated phone call that brought a smile to the Saints defenders who were all in ear shot.

The ex-coach is still involved with the club, he's pretty easy to spot out and he has no problems with his volume.

Like the Riddler said "full strength?" No need for rumours or assumptions. C'mon, if you want to dribble on here at least make it relevant.

Athelstone played very well and as expected, by all accounts will do well come september. As will CU who we came up against the week prior.

A very good balance of talent across div 7 this year.

Its gonna be a CRACKER!

I would have to agree with ya there.. I have been out due to dislocating my elbow and shoulder in round one. I think Mr M. You need to take a good hard look at how we are playing i have been out at training with the group things are starting to look up. Did it ever drop into your mind that the team needs to gel together before they can play good footy. You could put the best players on the park and if they were not used to each other or if they didnt even know each others names how do you think they will play footy?? you know nothing at all about div 7 this year and no nothing about central united club mate. So stop going around saying you have mates here and there telling you things. what do you need to know about it for, remember you left the club so stop commenting about it mate

I couldnt care less how good you think you blokes will go... Im a realist and I know your club wont play finals.. I know I made the right choice leaving your club. Your club makes decision that bring players down. Your A grade is not even your strongest selectable A grade every week.
Deadset, if it wasnt for a handful of your blokes running there mouths off bragging they had the premiership sewn up in the pre-season I would let it rest. The fact that I was looked at like an Idiot when I told certain players to not get ahead of themselves and the comp wont be easy like they think it will be p***ed me off even more.. To are many good blokes out there and many good 'Div 7' footballers aswell but the attitude of alot of them would never ever cut it at a well set club in a respectable division.

yeah but see i wasnt there when they were running there months thinking they could take the gf. i got talked out to the club to change the club move it forwazrd over the next few years. i was never told about being gf favs. i was out at brahma laodge and had spend the last year or so out there. andy talked me over i played trails for brahma in there A grade and i was pretty positive with how mawson lakes played us they look to be favs to take the flag. so there is no need to go out about how central unitied are playing if you ask athelstone other then the few little pushes and what not it was a great game i would have to say we gave them a fair run. so let it go if ya happy where ya are why keep commenting on div 7

Angle Vale are a good young side but lacked a bit of experience on the weekend, missed the 2 Hunters and Burgess in the ruck big time they'll improve as these kids get older...according to our scorers (team manager & goal umpire) we kicked 1 more goal to that score listed on saafl, not sure what club is doing bout it but that 1 goal would put us in top spot.

No need for goalkicking practice at Modbury this week, looks as if all those changes took it's toll on the weekend...Glenungas new boys again putting on a show, going along nicely.

Uni also going along about their business very nicely, new recruits up above in div 2 seems to be reaping the rewards across all grades...SHOC no easybeats and could sneak into the finals IMO.

Getting within 8 points of The Raggies up there is a fair effort, CU will be very good in the 2nd half of the season & if they make finals they could cause some upsets.

Gullies starting to click into gear now, Crabs have improved by the looks of it.

All makes for a pretty tight season if you ask me.

P.s I miss Mr M :(

not just the new recruits - there's been an improvement in those guys who played c grade last year and are better for the experience as well.

but looking up from my c2 perch, div 7 does appear that it will be close
