Averaging 87.93, with at least 50% of those being of AFL standard

Numbers are slightly down, but AFL quality is up

Time to get serious. Enough of the Houghton wish list.

West Croydon to be the top team.
Woodville South - expect them to be good under Clifford.
Trinity are well structured in div 6 and should be up there.
Adelaide Lutheran - lots said about ins and outs but have had success at higher levels
Fitzroy - again a lot of gossip but close last year and time will tell.
Ingle Farm have picked up a couple who will help them push for top 5.
Brahma Lodge are on a recruiting spree and who knows, $$$ could tell.
Mawson Lakes have a good core group and will try to hang tough again.
Mitchell Park have recruited numbers but quality is yet to be known.
Houghton are a good club but unless they are sandbagging recruits may find Div 6 tough.

That said it should be a terrific season with a lot of games going to the wire.
Good luck all.

Would it be a case of Trent signing a contract with Lodge as a paid player and Lodge putting this contract into the league and now Trent wants to leave but Lodge want to hold him to the contract?

As i cant see any other reason as he cant owe money from last year to Lodge

I'd say that's exactly the reason.
