Plympton knocked off Luth by 4 pts.
A really good game of footy, but very disapponting for our boys.
Stacey, elleston and Muir best for Plympton. Jimmy Cartwright with 3 goals was very good for the Luth

which one was cartwright???? he wasnt the CHF was he???

very good hit out. very stressful, haha!!! PFC very wasteful in front of goal.... fantastic turn out by both side supporters, bigger then some crowds in the 'A' grade games... However great effort by PFC...
should be a great game between ALFC and HVFC... Might pop out for a squiz

Let me preface this by saying well done to hope valley, they won a hard fought contest in which i can't take anything away from them as a side..

But, the umpiring yesterday, and also last week v uni, has been nothing short of deplorable. Yesterday, in key moments of the game, the umpires felt the need to get involved. Some of the decisions were horrendous to say the least. It's finals footy for Christ sake, yet I've never seen games over-umpired as much in my life. An awfully frustrating way to go out that's for sure..

Thanks again to hope valley for providing us with medical supplies as our trainers weren't aware of the time change and didn't arrive until after the game started, without the generosity of hope valley, a few of the lads wouldve struggled to get on the ground..

Thank you all for a great season, a very competitive and enjoyable comp, good luck to plympton, Lutheran and valleys, anyone of those sides would be worthy winners..

Was a good game, and would certainly have to agree with you HT, the game was definitely over umpired, and we probably got the better end of it. The game the week before against plympton seemed to be over umpired too - not sure what they are thinking there - Should always let it go, but particularly in finals footy.

Looking forward to watching the clash with Luthies this week - stitched us up nicely last time, but hopefully we will bounce back and take it up to them!
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

The umpiring has been a lot different to what we're used to that's for sure. I think we learnt a lot from the Qualifying Final and we only gave away 1 x 25m penalty on saturday for a late spoil (gave away at least 10 against Plympton)

Who was your player who kicked the ball away in the last 4 minutes of the game after a free kick and 25m was given in front of our goal? He wasn't even dragged for it  That only put us 2 goals up, but milked at least 2 minutes off the clock while the ball had to be retrieved. Was a poor way to finish for you blokes I thought.

A great win for our boys against quality opposition. Flinders Park certainly made us earn the win. Huge task for us this week, with Luthies beating us by 10 goals both times this year. Would love another crack at Plympton, but a big mounatin to climb first to get to them. Can't wait for this week...

Yeah when we played HV the umpiring was very poor but so was both teams discipline... 2nd half was much better...

Saturdays game was pretty well umpired i thought, there was some interesting decisions, but i thought they were much better this week then last...

should be a ripper game on saturday at the south parklands. two sides who play similar styles. HV have come of 2 hard weeks of footy, however they have the momentum and something to prove after having 2 big losses to them.
Luthies will be pumped after this past saturday, very good side with some quality players. very well drilled side...
im on the fence on this one, too close to call...

Game won't be at the South Parklands, Lutheran don't want it or maybe can't afford it.

Should be fun. Forecast at this stage is for 19mm of rain!!

South Parklands would probably be used for car parking for the show on saturday (as it was pointed out to me)
