A review of each country league in the Sunday Mail with Grand Final Scores, Mail Medal, Leading Goalkicker & Season Highlight. Here is what the SFL supposed highlight states.....

"The big one is still to come, when the league unveils its inaugural Hall of Fame inductees on October 14. In all, 46 people - including Michael Fitzgerald, father of Port Noarlunga product & radio personality Ryan, and South Adelaide reserves coach Trevor Potts - will join the list of legends."

WOW, it must be a huge night which everyone MUST be in awe of. Afterall it beats Morphet Vales undefeated season & 4th flag in a row, or Scott Pollards 29 goal haul against Hackham (or however many it was), the belting SFL gave that mob from the KNTFL, or the many other on-field highlights throughout the season. Well done SFL administrators for giving yourselves a huge pat on the back. Next time stop your name dropping antics & give credit where credit is due!

Good call Phantom. If the SFL submitted that info as the highlight for the league then the Hall of Fame night better live up to its name as 'the big one'.

If there is room mention Fitzy you think there would have been room for a sentence about Morphies 4th in a row and undefeated premiership.

Where is it being held? South Adelaide? Who are the other inductees?

Dont worry! The GSFL highlight was having 5 reps in the state country team, even though Willunga defeated Langhorne Creek, in both A's and B's after both creek sides were undefeated all year. The A's was one of the biggest upsets of all time!!!

Highlight for the River Murray league was the introduction of the points system for next year...a highlight for 2006 might be a good place to start...then you could look at Jervois 4th flag in a row...

Agreed Luvsfooty. Im sure there were far more highlights for the league than the 4 guys making the SA Country team.
The Grand Final being the pick of the bunch Still smiling from ear to ear!

Biggest Highlight was Trev Mcgrath from Aldinga goal of the year i can't believe that didn't get a mention....

My goal against Brighton where i smashed 4 blokes to kick went alright also me joining the league was a highlight...
