A huge thank you to SAAFL clubs

Postby Thunder » Tue Feb 07, 2006 9:22 am

The SAAFL delegates last night voted overwhelmingly to approve funding for the Grass Roots TV show. This is a massive boost to the producers who can now get on with the job of preparing for 2006 without having to worry as to whether each episode is the last. A huge thank you to all for the strong show of support.

Good the see Thatch,Robbo and the boys will be on air for the duration of '06.

Isn't part of the problem with reception that C31 can only broadcast to a certain level as they only have an interim licence. Can the Grass roots boys shed any light? You look at the community stations in other states and they are a lot clearer and have a lot more content.

Just to clear up the issue re c31 reception, the club payment covers production of a DVD for each club which will be available at North Tce lunch time each Thursday, so it can be watched at the club as it goes to air

Like Duncs if a logo is available then Gepps would be able to put it on our website and maybe some signage in the club would be possible. Thunder is there an email I could get for g/roots as there are a few guys at my club with some interesting ideas and or feedback for the show.
