time of round one?

Postby dont think do » Tue Feb 14, 2006 8:03 am

Ok heres something to think about, last year who can remeber playing those first couple of games when it was 35/36 and we had to stop every 10 minutes for a drink break.

Not to menetion having to play trial games int he weeks leading up.

Although I have now stopped playing footy I still play cricket and as is the often the case round one was washed out this season so,

How hard/worthwhile would it be if the football season (SAAFL) was moved back to start in May insteasd of April , and the cricket season was moved back to start in November instead of October?

I know it cant be done this year but this is more of a point for people to look at and lets see how hot it is at the start of the season this year.
