Maybe if they went to the clubs on an individual basis and spoke with each club coach to get some ideas on who they should be watching, the job might become much easier for them.

are they looking far and wide to get these u/23 players or if your not div 1 you dont get a look in?..maybe they should look at the lower grades as well?
how many years has crossy been doing it?..lovely guy and good coach but it seems sometimes he has the job for life!
