Player payments is always a contentious issue. When performing players are quick to sound you out for an increase, but when they are nor performing it's almost taboo to consider a cut.

I would be very surprised if any senior coach had the total and final say on any player payments and incentives paid to players at any higher division club. Thats what the football committee and football director are there for

donnelly looks very fat and unfit but is a good kick for goal. He is a hot head who struggles to take any contested marks and is no good when ball is on the ground. He looks and plays very selfishly. I think he got dropped by Gepps in finals and that is probably why he has left. Certainly would have struggled at A1 level. Seems to get injured a fair bit. He never troubled PHOS at all

can someone confirm what have heard around the traps, ex phos player/north melbourne brad stephens close friend from melbourne and ex team-mate could sign with phos in the next week.big name player???

Brad is about to move to Darwin with work - leaves this Friday, so it wouldnt be to play with him.

yes im aware that brad is off to darwin, i know him well but was just interested about his ex team-mate from melbourne joining phos who i beleive peachy has spoken to. could be one of the biggest gets in saafl history

Romano Negri ? I cant believe someone even said that! He would be over 40 by now!!! And i dont think he ever played with Brad- quite a large age difference.

love these stories in November. Apparantly Chad Cornes, Matt Pavlich, K Cornes, N Fosdike are playing for shocs next year.
