That fact that you've seen firsthand how poor they've been would set you straight, Surely?

Well, hornhardt has kicked close to 30 goals off a wing and made the state team, Grocke has been in the best most weeks, rarely beaten at full back and made the state team, and Stevo has been the form CHB for some years now and has really dominated at that position this year also rarely beaten and kicked around 15 goals also. Obviously i have seen them first hand but i would say other teams would acknowledge these 3 players this year as the clubs best.

I'd say 6 players represented from Gaza, Salisbury Nth, TTG, Henley and Goodwood - 5 of the top 6 teams - is not right. They are the teams who are obviously playing consistent footy and more players should be selected from these teams than those fighting to save relegation.
Choosing squads like this is always contentious however.

Usually the Team of the Year is selected by the 5RPH Amateur Show people, god forbid they do it this year. They would have no idea who plays for who and how well they have played. Would usually be a proud reward to receive, not sure about this year though, could just be lucky that your name came out of the hat.On1Leg wrote:I've no doubt they've been the best players for their team this season, but they don't have much competition for other best players at their club.
