Noticed a few digs at The Messneger" probably well deserved. The messenger that covers the North Eastern area did not mention anything about Modbury's ellevation into A1 or that they earnt the right to play in the Div2 GF; infact there was no mention what so ever about any local Amateure Sides - p--s poor seeing this is the pointy end of the season, the culmination of 20 hard slogged games

Where is their sense of occassion? sorry Messenger no cigars

I believe an article will be in this messanger inflight.... Modbury's A grade Captain polished the guns for a photo shoot last friday night i believe with a GG rep. I do agree they give more of a write up on Centrals who get a gig in the advertiser/sunday mail rather than the local comps who get beans.

Settle down... he did wear his 'dress' trackies for the shoot !!!
But the thoughts of all are right. The Messenger has been crap at putting the local teams out there... Cant be that hard surely ??? Must be something to be proud of you'd think... but I guess it'd tale up valuable advertising space that they could sell to the local hairdresser....

Messenger got Modbury & G Grove write up, but left out Hope Valley, more interested in major write on Central Districts, poor form and not really concerned with what is going on in Nth East area. :(

The only reason you will see me up there is if Modbury got religated 5 years in a row to come bac to your division Choccies  (i may pop up to confirm my theory that the beer will be warm)
We don't need the Gov mate we do it on our own at the Hawks Nest, and don't you worry we are in the process of developing a structure on and off the field that will make Harpers field pale into insignificance
