Greg Anderson can coach.

Postby NO-MERCY » Sun Sep 21, 2008 5:42 pm

Congratulations to Greg Anderson & his boys at Cove, a bloke thats copped alot of uneccessary criticism from players, board members & supporters ( at Gaza ) has shoved it right back in all their faces with a great coaching display all year in winning the 2008 premiership.
Their would have to be alot of red faces down Gaza way at present, nothings changed down there though as Meads experiencing the same thing.
I think Greg Anderson can coach.

I totally agree, witnessed Greg in action first hand last week and when his side is a few goals down at half time I'm not sure what he said but what ever it was it sure worked as Cove came out in the 2nd half and blitzed the opposition. Also IMHO spoke very well to the playing group at the quarter breaks and new what he was talking about.

I heard a few grumblings in the crowd yesterday that he had been outcoached a few times this year and that he struggles with match day decisions. My opinion is a flag does all the talking....

I coach at the Emus, not A grade, thought Anderson did really well with Cove.Got alot of improvement from his team this year and they did not recruit that much.Worked on some young ones who i have coached at Association level and really got the most out of them.Well done Ando and Cove !!!But we will be back to get ya next season !!!!

Maybe he just had a bloody good assistant

I reckon a bloke called Matt patterson helped him out

Anyone know much about the pupeteer to Anderson's Punch and Judy?

I saw a bit of Cove during the finals and Ando's coaching was excellent. He is quiet but speaks with authority and explains what he wants from his players. His record at Gaza was excellent and the decision to move him on was typical of Gaza - when the players realize that other clubs are actually better than them they might train harder, beleive the coach is trying to make them better they just might win a premiership. I hope Cove have re-signed Ando for 2009.

He went & earnt his respect at Cove & got rewarded big time for his effort.
The players at Cove knew they had a coach thats heart was there for them & their club.
They rewarded him with a great win over the most dominant side in the League in Morphett Vale.
The Cove boys wern't afraid of puting in the hard yards to achieve the ultimate glory.
The Cove Football Club would like to thank Gaza for making Greg available.

This is an absolutely ridiculous comment! You're a fantastic fiction writer NM, keep this stuff up and you'll be in the running for the Booker Prize.
