Trent Mills has retired so Goodie Saints will be looking for a new coach for 2009.

Will this also mean that the guys who followed him to Goodies will now move on?

A little birdie flew onto my window sill and whispered, "he's gone". A reliable source that little birdie, tells me lots of good things.

and they might recruit an even higher profile coach and in fact get more players, like, where can you go thats better if you wanted to leave?..the glory is nowhere near ending for the sainters

they used to say that about hawthorn in the 80's as well..

FYI: look at sturt fc..if they beat glenelg this week they will have senior,reserves,u/19s and u/17s in the GF..no-one has done this since 1930's..when a league club is strong it tends to filter through into the amateur clubs in the area..league u/19's may all fold next year..where will the sturt boys go if they cant get a reserve game?????

i already know one u/19 that might go there, goodwood sholdnt have any trouble recruiting players with their reputation and facilities. Who wouldnt want to go to a club which won 5 div 1 gf in a row with the best facilities?

cmon aceman, i doubt players would decide 3 days after winning a GF that they are leaving, too soon, fair enough the coach announcement. Demasi & webb are gone to?

17s have already won the gf. 19s and ressies (won by 100points in their final) would be favourites as well.
