we all know college teams are soft and suburban sides are scummy
far out!

when i played school footy for henley high we played against your st peters, sacred hearts, PAC ect.
we always used the soft tag to pump us up ra ra ra but in the end they were harder at the footy than any of the public schools we played against. when we played a semi against st peters we had 5 blokes stretchered of the oval, with 3 from each team and there wasnt anything out side the rules. so IMO its a myth

Regardless of schooling, I'm pretty sure this doesn't add up?

depends on what subjects they studied at uni..anything to do with maths/science would result in a higher poof rating..if they are studying history or something similar i would label them "uni poof" imposters and out them as possible college poofs but more likely suburban ferals who want to be better..

Played a single season in SAAFL and only against one college team, CBCOC, apart from laughing at their uniforms, I remember a few of their players tended to to crack you in the head in marking contests, then apologise if you took offence. Overall, I don't think they were not a hard team, just a touch dirty.
