Go Valleys!!

Hope to have a good year this year!

Interesting only 7 teams. Personally i don't mind the bye so can go and watch the a's and b's!

Anyone know if this is set in stone? Or is there the chance the SAAFL may change it up and add teams from C6?

i reckon having byes in C grade divs r a good idea. as farbs said, players can watch the As n Bs or just have a weekend off. we all kno C graders arent the most committed players usually

At this stage you are listed on SAAFL site in C6, with other D grade sides like TTG, Modbury, Smosh etc. Not sure if this will stay as is though.

i'm hazarding a guess going on the teams in this grade that its slightly easier than c6. i'm backing (surprise surpise) the blacks as we're going down from c4 (3rd) with much the same side returning.

it seems to me that c6 wil be a tough comp! c5 may be the one to pick up one last GF win for some blokes!

farbs youll find saafl are leaving the door ajar for the slackers  ie ingle farm(who has 50 c graders not training)clg (who have had 80 to 100 people training, but withdraw the c gr on the 20th feb) what theyll prob do if no takers take 1 team from c6 maybe gg, as they are c4 as well and make it an 8 team comp. wont stay at 7 imo

Not sure about that GTB - as Finn said, if we are playing the Uni team one level above the one we played last year, it may prove difficult.

If they're gonna do that they'll probably bring up one of the Div 1 clubs not a Div 4 side, remembering you'd expect C5 to be better than C6, just as you would C2 better than C3

To be honeste i think GG would prefer thier D grade play in C5 rather than C6, the C6 sides are D grade sides from clubs, most of them being div 1 or 2 clubs. You would think these clubs would have stronger D grades than that of a div 4 side. Not that C5 would be any easier for us.

Yeah i agree. I think the teams in C6 will be tough. Last year we were the 4th best side in C5, and GG (c grade), TTG (d) and Modbury (d) were a fair bit in front of us.
