Is it true that the SAAFL have changed the jumper clash rule? The old rule was whoever had the latest jumper registration had to change, now I hear it is the away team. I can't find anything on the SAAFL website and the 2009 handbook is not out.

Would love to see University wear the baby blue jumpers at Kilburn Oval this Year!

Ha ha, can't imagine Uni will be very happy at all! No doubt they'll try and take the SAAFL to court or something.

It'll be the first time I've wore a clash jumper though. PNU and Uni will be our only clashes I think.

We had to wear clash Guernseys around 4 times last season. Even in a semi final we had to, which i thought was pretty week

the change is nowhere near as stupid as the new 25 players rule from c1 down.

if it is what I think it is then our C grade coaches are going to be alot happier

any 'C' side (C1 down), will HAVE THE OPTION of playing 25 if they so choose.
From what I could gather on the night, it was to allow more players to have a run that could have potentially missed out on a game entirely.

Why is that stupid? Because it disadvantages uni?

There is one who can't meet his timelines now so how will they cope with extra work.
Taking 10-12 weeks to get SAAFL socks, that went down well, pig's ar$e.
Could be a big shakeup when the renewals are up for grabs, a couple won't reapply and a couple of newies might throw their hat in the ring.

SAAFL should have stayed with JAX Sports.

Great idea. I know a lot of blokes lose interest in playing if they are dropped from the Cs. Then when injuries and other committments happen later in the year the Cs pull up short in numbers and the blokes that have left would have been priceless.

Common sense applied by the head honchos, good work boys.
