Moral Behaviour of some Clubs

Postby Punk Rooster » Thu Apr 30, 2009 11:10 pm

Is it "cricket" to charge a bloke full season of subs, when he's only played 2 games, & wants to leave to play elsewhere with his mates?
I believe this club has prior form already in this regard...

Should pay half IMO, why sign up for something if you are unsure whether you'll commit.

wouldnt the league charge the club 100% for the players fees regardless of how many games played by a player???

Yep, I would charge full membership.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

I would go with half subs. Any games played in first nine rounds constitutes having to pay half of your subs, any games played in second half means you pay in full.

I would charge half of the subs required. Unfair IMO to charge full tote.

Did he commit to full season or was he just filling in to help out when short. If the former then half fees would be fair and the latter release him.

Did the player do a pre season, or even train, if so did the club provide medical supplies and access to a trainer. Did the player utilise club facilities, if so he should be liable for the whole amount. If it is a case of just filling in for B or C grade calculate his membership by the amount of games he played.
