From the SAAFL Website...

For the first time, all A and B Division match details were entered into iScore by 5.30pm. This meant a report was automatically generated that went to the Sunday Mail that could be dropped straight into the Sunday Mail.

This eliminates the need for clubs to phone in results to the League and Sunday Mail, all scores, goal kickers and best players are entered onto the website. This means anyone can go on the saafl website and find out all match details and premiership tables.

This is another step towards a paperless football administration system, reducing the carbon footprint of the League and reducing human and dollar administration costs across the board.

Well done to all clubs.

Getting them in on time is the main thing... accuracy of scores is just a bonus

Is that why most of the performances were the wrong way around and so many had "as supplied" written next to them?

It's the Sunday Mails way of saying "Don't shoot the Messenger"

Home side named first regardless of result, pretty easy to work out after reading a few results.

Exactly. If people struggled with it I'm not sure how they would've gone with the rest of the paper.

I was only making an observation, you can never be too sure though with the amount of errors that have appeared in the Sunday Mail this year. I recall Eastern Park getting a fair bagging earlier in the season when they played Adelaide Uni and the scores were mixed up, there's been a fair few others along the way too.
