Anyone care to comment on the article in this newsletter re delegates meetings.

Funny I thought this was a opportunity for clubs to discuss concerns and issues...apparently not...silly me

Not sure that anything has changed turk, been like that for quite a while IMO.

FC.. unsure about that... where will people have the opportunity to have their say if this forum is removed from them??

Seems to me that it is becoming a divide and conquer opportunity. :?

If what I am hearing happened on Moday night is true then it is nothing short of appalling

After reading the newsletter I can sort of get where he is coming from. If you get no joy from the office bring it up at a delegates meeting. But from my experience it is pretty rare you get any joy from the office so everything will end up being discussed at the delegates meeting anyway. The best way of getting anything changed is doing the work prior to delegates meetings of canvassing/lobbying other delegates (Geoff Heard is an expert at this). If you go in cold most delegates won't back something up until they have full knowledge of what changes are sought.
