There might already be a C1 thread, but I couldn't find it.
Tea Tree Gully kicked a goal after the siren from a 25m penalty to level the scores!!
Tea Tree Gully 08.14 62 v 09.08 62 Modbury
IMO, Modbury should have won, but couldn't put away a persistent TTG even though they had the wind in the last quarter

How many players might miss out on this week's replay as a result of a couple of fights.
My informant tells me one should get life, he ran 40 metres to deck someone and kicked him on the way down to make sure he stung him.

Correct Ace, the Modbury player has had surgery on a shattered jaw with nerve damage! the matter will be taken further....

The SAAFL will not treat that lightly, nor should they!!! Send thuggery to buggery.

what do you mean "will?"
from what I heard you lot had the cops out there dragging him off faster than you could say Jack Robinson.

that's a pity - having played both sides i found them hard but fair. that neighbourhood animosity must have come out.

FC no cops were involved and the player once he was sent off grabbed his bag and sat on the sidelines drinking
It was probably the worse act i have seen on the football field......

Other than that incident it was a good tough game well supported by both clubs..... very unfortunate

The 25m penalty was probably one of the softest and most laughable ive ever seen. . But shoudl not really have come down to the last kick anyway. .
The hit was disgraceful and from what i could tell this player was not planning on being out on the deck for long. . Weak act from a known sniper.

I know Hope Valley put in for the final again - makes sense really as opposed to being the 10.15am game in a triple header, both clubs are based around the corner from HV.
I thought replays were supposed to be replayed on the same ground anyway....

We hope we dont have to play on that small cow paddock again FC (no offence) its a final and should be played on a better oval than HV!

Fair call...
The security at Salisbury is probably more stringent anyway - no one will be able to sneak in vans full of beer

I was the ticket man at the gate and both security guards told me they finished work @ about 5am and had to report to Hope Valley at 10.30 for an 11 am start.
After finishing at 5 pm they were then meant to head back into the city until 3 am! no wonder the poor buggers were half arsed and on the red bulls!
