Was all too quick to hand them to a club official still in the plastic bag whilst saying something like,
" I'm not giving these out, you can do it tonight back at your club"
Smells of 'bad loser' syndrome to me. I guess that's what happens to some when you have an affiliation with a losing club.

Your boys had a good following in the north-western pocket, that bloke running around the outer wing with the CLG flag seemed to conveniently stop just before he got to the Paralowie congregation. Good move I thought.

Every Grand Final I have ever watched over many years, the medals have ALWAYS been presented to players individually and on the ground along with the cup and pennant to the Captain/Coach.

Im pretty sure the delegate in question offered to hand them out at the ground, but also gave the option for the club to have them handed out by themselves at the club, in which they chose to do so.

Some people may never win another one, so they have every right to expect their medal after the siren in front of the crowd!

Maybe a fair call but the decision was left upto Heccies and they chose to do it their way. Personally if i had just played a GF i would probably prefer it handed to me by my coach and captain in the club rooms with the supporters back there instead of on the ground...just my feeling though.
