He's a terrific young guy who may just be what's needed.

Brodie is one of the nicest and most approachable blokes around and has some great ideas on certain areas of the league..

A "yes" man he ISN'T, so could be just what the doctor ordered... 8)

interesting that "removed from Exec Com by General Committee in 2009" was after David Green's name, as if we had forgotten that meeting in the middle of the year.

yep... unecessary and bordering on childish.

Not sticking up for Greeny or condoning what he did but if he's reapplied, he should be given the same chance as everyone else and considering I think he's been banned from entering the premisis I don't think that fair chance is going to happen.

Geez, that could make for an interesting night, might need the security guards that were at Broadies earlier this year to man the gates on the night.

Well, I guess it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who I am. Yes, I have nominated for the Executive Committee to be decidedin the upcoming AGM on November 30.

Thanks for the kind words Ace and FC.

I won’t bother regurgitating my ‘credentials’ as I believe that this might be covered in todays Footy News, and these can be debated later, but I will be more than happy to field any reasonable questions or concerns either on the forum or via PM.

Really excited at the possibility of being able to help out and make a difference.

Cheers,

Brodie Forbes

Brodie,

What are your opinions on the 2 issues with their own thread at the moment, media and apparel licences?

Healthy discussion on these topics is great on a forum like this, but I won't be making any definitive comments on these areas until I know all of the facts.

Apparel licences have been put to bed for the next 3 years. I have some ideas regarding the SAAFL media, and will be taking these through the correct channels, if I get elected, before discussing on here.

I'm not fishing, I just think it's ridiculous that you want to be elected but won't say what you'll do if elected.

Why would he want to get 'baited' into stating his stance on issues that he probably wants to get more info on before committing himself to a 'view point'. Stick with your guns Bigdaddy!! He will be a bloody good exec committee member....as has previously been stated he is not a 'Yes Man'....however as you have already seen a glimpse of the man...he is not one to shoot from the hip on issues he would like to look into more!! :D :D ;)

It's called taking 1 small step at a time, he'll do it as he sees fit, they're not all like you FE, an out of control steam train that's hellbent on anything controversial..

Sounds like he's setting himself up to be a yes man. God forbid we have someone on the exec who is willing to tell the people he represents what is going on or what his opinions are!

Now there is some sound thinking, not even elected and we have an expert in the wings making judgement on him already.
What hope has the man got? We are being overun by the learned few.
