yes tongue was bit not quiet in half but a big slice still numb. it wasnt a gf but a game at lindblom pk vs townies. Coped heaps from townies tongue, stiches in forehead , broken nose must of all been pay back for 1989 GF national anthem. great win that day by the bulls me mate played a blinder.

Beauty about SAFA was you played the same sides every year and could start up a great friendship with alot of players

South Australian Football Association Clubs
CLUB YEARS

Norwood Union (1902) 1978 (joined Amateur league)
Payneham (1926) 1980-94 (see Payneham Norwood Union)
Payneham Norwood Union 1994-95 (joined Amateur league)
(

According to the SAAFL, PNU dont exist in 1995, nor do we exist as separate clubs in 1995. The last known records in the SAAFL for NU was 1994.

Mark Shadiac and I spent some time looking through yearbooks and club records and we were nowhere to be found.

So on this, I contacted Don Marriot, and unfortunately, he cant get hold of any SAFA records at all. (thus also putting to an end of ever finding out exactly how many games Scott Darrington has played)

Therefore the mystery remains as to where Payneham/ Norwood Union/ PNU were playing in 1995...

If ANYONE ANYWHERE can help with any of this info, please PM me....PLEASE????

Payneham NU were a part of SAFA in 1995, SAFA's last year. That would correspond to SAAFL not knowing about them and also Norwood Union finishing in 1994 (I think that adds up)

There is a premiership table at (down the page a bit)...

Cheers.

Does anyone know how I can get my hands on a couple of old SAFA Budgets (buy or swap)? I'd be most grateful if someone could steer me in the right direction.

Is anyone able to photocopy me a complete copy of a SAFA Budget?
Any round, any season as I am curious to see what they were like.

Please PM me if you can help.
