Seeing as the teams in the div 7 finals are all in contention for div 6 next season,
I thought I'd start a thread on division 6.5 - they're halfway there....
So discuss the finals and nothing else boys.

Well Done Dogwatcher!
Finals Series should be a cracker....Houghton's record has not been good over the past few seasons so it will be interesting to if they can bounce back this year.

However, looking back on Div 7 very briefly.
Can someone give me some thoughts on what Trinity need to improve? They didn't seem that far off the pace in their matches against the top sides in recent weeks - losing to BlackFs, St Pauls and Wingfield by around 40 points.

They neeed to play 4 quarters they have been very competitive and I think the best side out the top 5 but play very inconsistant football....this might be becuase they have a lot of very young players....also they get letdown sometimes by alot of skill errors this might also be because of the inexperience.
They will be a very good side in a couple of years if not next year but they need to get away from that oval in Craigmore.

Hey mate
i reckon they would have made the finals having a bigger ground
that small ground they just cant use thier speed and youngsters to full affect
when they get on big ovals they can use the space well
biggest problem def the ground not the talent
few blokes are bit too worried bout sticking up for younger smaller blokes (fighting and carrying on)instead of stamping authority on the ground with the ball and taking games upon themselves

And what sort of players do they need?

key forwards
they had 1 young bloke who went real well for 1 quarter then faded out and didnt do anything
and backmen
they got quite good midfield i thought
not too defensive though

Need more backmen had a really good flanker in No.3 Wade Hall I think his name is but he had to play FB and CHB because there was nobody else...but i rate him can play!

Moderators got a bit precious, and have blown the whole situation out of proportion...reckon they will delete anything which relates to Div 7 disgrace!!!

Confirmed Paralowie v Houghton at Salisbury Oval in the A's and Henley v Houghton at Salisbury in the B's.
Paralowie get their 2 teams split up but Houghton keep their fans together.
