Wed Sept 12th is the count.....

I havent seen a lot of Div 1 or 2 games but have seen quite a few highlights and disected results each week. I came to the stunning realisation after the Div 3-7 count that i would have little or no idea on the winner but thought it would be interesting to get peoples tips.
Mine are based on the fact they have had solid years, are proven vote getters, played for teams that had more wins than losses and play in the midfield. They might not win but they will get plenty of votes and will surely poll more than the hottest of hot favourites did in Div 3 (Charlie Molyneaux - 3 votes )

Div 1 - Johnny Boxer (Gaza)
Div 2 - Dale Laslett (Portland)

Can't speak for DIV 2 but for DIV 1 I'd give Nick Smith from SPOC a fair chance in and around the middle and the ball is in his hands a fair bit.

I think Smith is favourite in my book.
Boxer easily Gaza's best chance.

If we're all backing him no ones making anything better close the book.

yeah thats what i was hearing..played a big role in a few upsets i believe..

Dont quote me (as i was heavily intoxicated at the time) but speaking with Districts players saturday night and Reid Beeching was not invited to the Medal count, i was very surprised by this as i had him as one of the favourites??

Was he suspended? Could not think of another reason why he would not be in the first 3 or 4 players past the post. Absolute gun this bloke.

Scotty Williams from broadview reckons he is a certainty for the division 1 medal.

I heard Gates from Port Districts won div 2 medal.

Yes Matty Gates and Josh Hand. Two very good players.

One a real upset and the other one of the favourites. Both good players. Gator played league football, so a very, very good player and Hand is an outstanding younger player.

Great effort from both. Hand to win from a side that struggled, was super impressive and I have heard has caught the attention of many SANFL scouts and black and yellow SANFL scouts I hear are knocking
