Is Michael Eichner one of the Eichner's that played at Freeling?

Wow, He is the shit one right? Don't think Freeling were real devastated to lose him. Has he improved or a case of a better player in a better team?
His brother is much better

He's had two ripper years with the Hawks. He would've been close in the B&F last year, and I expect him to poll well this year too.

He is a really good defender, and finds plenty of his own ball too. I'm not too sure what he was like at Freeling, but he's a real key player for Salisbury North.

Most likely, although Freeling weren't much chop back then, were they?

lot of good players in that bunch thats for sure. Interesting to see they only picked one player from div 2 and also picked cahill from d3, do they still pick side for each division.

Toby Schulz couldn't get a kick up in the Riverland either. Maybe better player in cleaner, quicker grades.

Interesting to see Peterson as first ruck, didn't do much for the Southern Eagles in the YPFL last year

Also published by an independent media organisation. Nothing to do with the SAAFL.....

So Eichner, Schulz and Pederson all struggled to leave a mark on country footy yet make team of the year.
Maybe the comparison should not be wether the Tanunda's, Uraidla's and CMS crows would make finals in Div 1 but how much they would win it by and would any Div 1 clubs be competitive. ;)

Well I didn't see him last year, but have seen him on and off for the last 6 years. He would be the best ruckman I've seen at this level, and has had a great year.
