Two weeks in a row bad kicking for goal for us but this week it hurt us big time. We had the ball just as much as Eastern Pk we just couldnt convert all day.

Unsure, but when we played them a few years back their B Grade umpire had a face plate and was a dead set cheat.
We nicknamed him Voldemort

I think someone said last year he lost his nose to cancer, so that nickname would be pretty tasteful. Even if not you'd be a fair f#ckwit.

I played cricket with the bloke for many years and he most certainly did lose his nose to cancer.

you are kidding yourself. you blokes were hopeless
not prepared to get behind the ball , did not want to run, did not want the hard ball.
East pk should have won by more if their forwards were not so greedy in the last 1/4 , all wanted a share but put themselves ahead of the team result

Don't know how you can have 5 less scoring shots and blame bad kicking as the main reason in losing.

Heard it all now.....

I think use where more cleaner with the ball than us and hitting your forward targets on the leads all day.

I do agree we didnt play good but poor kicking all day cost us any chance of being in the game.

Mate we kicked 1.6 and one out of bounds on the full in the first qtr so from then onwards we where playing catch up and couldnt get any momentum because we kept kicking points all day.

Not being a smartass mate but the scoreboard has you with less scoring shots. I couldn't care what happened during the game but the only thing that matters is the scoreboard.

I just find it very strange that could be the reason as I've never seen an example like that given by anyone.

I'm hearing Kenilworth by 1 point over Woody South. Been some close contests in recent times between these 2...

28 scoring shots to 19. Woody South let that one get away?

Mate I wasn't there but from my experience @ St.Marys Park is if you don't kick straight it's a long way back to the forward line. Captain Obvious tells you the oval is enourmous.....

My experience tells me if you don't kick straight, the ball usually remains in your forward line...

We could go on forever as the ground has many characteristics but still has 4 posts @ each end.

Great efforts all round.

A few must win games for all clubs this week to either kick away from the pack or just to keep up. Glenunga host Salisbury West and it's a very important game for us to make sure we don't fall away from those middle tier teams. Hopefully we can play four quarters this week and come away with the points

I see Brad Morris continues to kick goals in the 2's for GG... I'm surprised he hasn't played more A grade.
