Yesterday was one of the best wins ive been apart of.

Hope Valley smashed us everywhere in the first qtr and were up by about 4 goals at qtr time with the breeze. We pegged it back to 2 goals by half time while losing our best midfielder for the rest of the day with an ankle injury.
At 3 qtr time we were still behind by 11 points. We kicked the first two goals then along with points to both teams then with 2 minutes left Hope Valley got it forward and dribbled a goal through to get back in front by 5 points.
We won the clearance got it forward and had a ball up 30 out on an angle. From the ball up there was a high tackle to Wade Vandemoer. He went back and slotted it through and puts us up by a point.
From the final ball up Hope Valley had the clearance got it forward one of our players intercepted the half volley on the 50, he got half tackled ball spilled out then the siren went.

Unlucky to Hope Valley they were better than us for most of the day but we just got over the line.

Congrats PFC.
H/V can put that $5 per car load to moving forward next year.
PFC couldn't charge because they don't have a fence by the way if they had of played home.
Joke.

It's pretty easy to leave your car outside the gate and save your $5 for some mixed lollies for the walk back

i don't get the sudden outrage at having to pay for parking at a final

we charged everyone, who wasn't a player or official on the day, to park for $5 as well

Nah, he just has to whinge about something.... trusting that he's just not trolling, he'll have a crack at TTG, ROCS and Modbury next week if/when they do the same.

Absolutely I would.
No fence,no charge.
It's ludicrous.
Not having a go at any particular club at all.
EG - Will Ingle Farm charge this week for entry?

Was a good contest to watch up at Hope Valley, good atmosphere.

Well done to S Demon as well on diffusing a situation as Pooraka were walking off, could've gotten a bit ugly if it he hadn't intervened calmly. Top work mate.

Yes I'm not sure who the chap was that obviously had too much and decided to let his emotions get the better of him, but it was very close to spilling over. It was good to have someone from HV step in and control this individual, eventually. I'm sure we'll forgive the racist comments that he made towards some of our supporters as he was clearly suffering from some kind of intoxication.

Considering the close proximity to the players race to the bar, it might have been nice to have match officials besides the pooraka ones in this area, but perhaps they were busy with the umpires as they were copping plenty as well, but that is only a suggestion.

Otherwise it was pretty well hosted, Young blokes on the gate offered to hand back my $5 if i couldn't find a park, which i thought was decent, an offer that wasn't needed as parks were still found.

And from our point of view both A's and B's were both played in good spirits and were both good spectacles of finals football in their respective grades.

We charge $5 for car parking as well when we host finals. Don't see the issue - you have to make the money back for hosting finals somehow. You don't like it, park outside the gate and walk the 30 metres to the oval......first world problems!!

If you can't cough up $5 to a couple times a year to support other clubs fundraising some cash then you're a clown.

You don't get much change from a $5 note when buying a bottle of coke from a servo.

Telling clubs to budget in finals? Maybe budget in $10 a year to enter finals venues.
