A ruthless man but loved by every player who played for him. I've had a few coaches that I have really liked but I would probably rate Owie as the best. Still is respected as if he was still the coach.

I might get keen for a comeback and notch up the 100 games with the great man coaching, wife permitting.

That is one of the funniest but truest things I've ever seen on this forum, the power of the snatch - we all go through it, it's a bit like their menopause.

Strong word that Andy Webber is likely to take the Greenacres job. I think he coached their B-Grade this year.

Expected to bring in some quality to push hard for promotion.

Correct about B Grade coach stepping up - cannot see "pushing for promotion" - lost Div 5 Medallist to Broadview and others are on the way out.

Greenies in trouble? 50th year next year also.

Ben Bamford will be missed indeed........ as for the "others" that are refered too...only time will tell..

Remebering we finished a long way down the table in the last 2 years it would be difficult to imagine these "others" playing at a higher level and being successful  more likely to a lower grade perhaps..... again only time will tell :?

Think it will be because they belted us in a GF but that's about it.

Im not naming the player but he did contact the WOS player to apologise and I understand that they have no bad blood.

With all due respect to Greenacres.
