If anyone has a problem with it for whatever reason, he may not want people seeing him without clothes on etc so I apologise to him in advance.

For me personally, all of my injuries! haha. My first bad finger injury was unpleasant, went to grab what I thought was strapping stuck to the side of my hand only to realise my finger had been pretty much ripped off. Seeing the top of my knuckle bone made me buckle at the knees. Pretty cool being in emergency and having all the nurses and a couple of cops taking photos.

Besides that, the worst I have seen was one day on the Sacred Heart Middle School Oval. A certain Damien Bates, not a small bloke (sorry big fella!) got a ripper of a tackle in and his weight sort of "crumpled" this kid. He ended up I think breaking his hip from memory and had his entire leg pointing at a very unnatural angle. There was absolutely no moving him and just had to sit there in agony waiting for the ambulance to arrive. The game was called off almost immediately. Horrific.

Didnt see it happen, and dont know if it was a footy related injury. But there was a guy at Ingle Farm footy club on the sidelines with some brace on his leg with bolts going into his shin. It looked ******. It probably would've been about 8-10 years ago I reckon.

Yeah I remember that game. He did his ACL and one of the other ligaments in his knee (completely torn). Also cracked one of the bones.
The knee was that dislodged that it blocked the main vein running down the leg, and it started to go blue.
The whole thing looked pretty bad.
The surgeons had to take out a vein out of his hamstring to replace the one they took out.
About 3 separate operations later, and opie is doing well.
Will be our a grade runner this year, and possibly have a kick in the b's for a try.

I will never forget that because it sounded like a bloody thunderclap.

I remember getting ready in the change rooms for the next game, while he was in the medico room waiting for the ambulance. Wasn't a good way to prepare...

Remember hearing about the fella from Para Hills, I just started at Holdens in the same area he worked.

Worst one I had was my 2 leg bones separated at the ankle from each other in a tackle. Trainer said it was a sprained ankle, knew something was up 4 or 5 days later when I still couldn't walk and was swollen from knee to toe. Clamp, screw and 8 weeks off work.
Had a strange one 2 years ago when I was kicked in the shin and ended up with a golf ball sized dent in my shin, at the time I swear it was broken just by the look of it and the pain but after some ice the dent came out and was all good, the area was numb and jelly like for about a year after though.
