Right, so we know that D4 and D3 will be held at Thebby on Saturday.
The league wont use Kilburn
I doubt they'll use Salisbury
Broadview is available.
PNU is NOW available
Kenilworth is available
I think Mitcham is available.
I'm not sure who elses ground is available.
I believe we're using Richmond Oval too
Finals games are:
D5: Haven v WOS
D5R: CBC v Haven
D6: Blacks v Rosies
D6R: Rosies v Locks
D7: Smiffies v Uni
D7R: Henley v Flinders Park
D8: PAC v G/Grove
D8R: HV v PAC
C1: Goodwood v Uni
C2: Athelstone v Broadies
C3: Pembroke v PAC
C4: TOS v Mozzies
My mail is that a couple of C grades would play friday night. Given that C2 and C4 have no other teams playing on Saturday - logically you'd program them if it were to come to fruition. **THIS IS NOT SET IN STONE SO DON'T BOTHER BITCHING ABOUT IT**
Based on all other info above, how and where would YOU program Saturdays games? Assuming that C3 would be a triple header with D8 and so would C1 with D7

Could Div2&2R prelims play Friday night, freeing up PNU for GFs?
Could C1 play a triple header before Div1 and 1R prelims?
Would GG host Div8, dragging along Div8R and C3?

Golden Grove won't get a home GF in D8
and Goodwood won't get a home GF in C1 either

In the event Payneham were to become free I would have thought it an eminently suitable venue for the 8/8R/C3 PAC Trifecta

To be honest I doubt that we would even be asking for a final - with our A and B grade playing at the same time would be hard to get anyone to volunteer to be at the club to do anything .

Henley isn't fenced.
Not sure if they'll use Campbelltown.
WHy on EARTH do you think they'll play a GF with a normal D1/ D2 finals match?
People, it's a simple question - use the info given to you.
It's not a trick question, I promise....

I've heard Mitcham are hosting finals on Satdee from someone connected with the club.
Div 7/7R & C1 triple header??

There will be no Friday night games - the League has asked the question and no one wants them.

Given you've asked us to squeeze 12 games onto 3 ovals, sorry for trying to come up with some possible options.

Has Broadview nominated for finals? They did an excellent job last year...

Hasn't anyone read the original post?
FFS.
Tiga, given the grief that they've caused and the loss of income to other clubs from their forfiets, the league aren't exactly going to offer them thousands in bar takings now are they?

Well you'd think C3 will be with D8/D8R in a triple - if logic prevails, this will be at Richmond as both GG and HV have teams playing at Thebby
as would C1 team up with D7 - Kenilworth triple header, all other 3 teams are western/central or, if Plympton have put in, that would also suit.
C2 and C4 at one ground - question mark....
that leaves D5 at one ground - Evil Empire? i said they weren't available up top but that was because I was under the belief that a D2 prelim was being played there this week - which apparently isn't the case. So PNU becomes free...
and D6 at another - Broadview??

FC I know you have already ruled Kilburn out, but could you use your pull at the SAAFL and get the C4 and Div 6/6R at Kilburn as they are the games im watching and its literally 100m from my front door step.
Thanks and Regards

Why isn't D2 preliminary at PNU anymore, if that's the case I'm sure that we will take other finals

Only if we can all stagger back to yours for free beers afterwards
Why do people think I have pull? If I had pull I'd already know the answers and wouldn't be making up stupid hypothetical threads
Trust me, I'm really not that influential...
Don't ask me UTF, ask the league.
Last I heard PAOC can't have home finals, nor do they get to choose a ground in lieu of one - would be my guess...but I've been wrong before.

Hearing talk Friday night might still be on the cards and the 9am Saturday might be moved?
Clearly no one knows what's going on! haha

PNU will host the Div 7 game between Uni and Smiff only if you let Malcolm umpire. Now that would be entertaining

Yep, classic case of how to keep idiots in suspense
