Really hope the two lads who were constantly arguing in the reserves don't let their antics filter through the side and same goes for the bloke in the 1s who got dragged, smacked the interchange bench, took his guernsey off and walked...

wonder if its the same guy who did the exact same in a night game against MP

Very observant crabman, you were obviously at the game. :D

Nice to see Adelaide Uni have have slipped Carroll, Chalk and Henderson back from Div 1 reserves. Carroll has played most of the year in the B's so might be a handful for the Raiders. Free interchange, don't you love it. :)

Not bad slipping Carroll in there, played the last 8 rounds in D1R.

Uni Div 1 reserves still fighting to play finals wouldn't think they would be messing around with their teams just yet.

I looked at the oval late today, pretty wet still, probably be a bit of a slog by the time the b-grade game is finished.

Imagine if you had a c grade game! Reminds me of juniors in the SFL and you only had 40 metres of vision. Ball just come from no where.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Holy Shit  you're not going to know if the roos and cows that graze the oval have cleared before the game starts.

Good luck today Houghton, I'll be rooting for you

Now that the excitement's abated somewhat, I'd like to add that until today I'd had my doubts about St Paul's. Could not understand why they were in third spot. We got beaten by them twice but both times I felt that we were the better side skillswise, and lost because we were suffering from nerves and/or lack of direction, and intimidated by the more physical style of game St Paul's play. But no. Today they didn't let up on us. Every time we pulled ahead they came right back. They were bloody good. At no point in the game did I ever think we had it in the bag. Two weeks ago the atmosphere was quite ugly - there's been some bad blood between the sides since our first meeting - but by the end of the game I had nothing but respect for the St Paul's team. Well fought. :)

will be interesting to see who Uni bring into the As for next week considering the div 1R finished 5th

watching the game yesterday that Uni A grade side would need to make 5 changes easy to get over M.P and work on Hard Ball Gets

Can't see there being too many changes given the 1 reserves and 1s play their round 18 match next week and the c1 side plays for top next week.
The 7s have generally got the job done so will trust their players to lift next week.

Their D1R side win next week and they're into the finals, wouldn't imagine too much tinkering with the teams.

We haven't got near them anyway. They'd start $1.10 favourites I reckon.

Any Houghton people coming down for a look?
