and thats all in the past 24 months

Smosh are quickly running back to div 8 asap with their tail between legs to save themselves

How many C or D grades not involved in D7 have been lost in the last 24 months?

Well seems like every other 4 team club whos never been near div 7 is flourishing as mentioned by earlier posters
And salisbury shut their Ds down for other reasons not related to numbers as mentioned by salisbury poster himself

U chuck your 4 team club into div 7 then your club will have a participation rate virus on your hands and 25% of your club players are eventually gonna wanna say bye byes

Rocs you still keen for div 7?

The answer is several. Which goes to show that 'waxing and waning' of C/D teams happens regardless of what Division they're in.

I've got a cool idea, they should group all the clubs that can accommodate 4 teams and have something like a C & D Grade "superleague".

Logistics of a 14 team superleague while having a 6 team a Grade League seems a bit silly. Especially when lots of teams in the SuperLeague would be of the same standard as the A Grade League

nah solution is so...

# clubs with more than 4 teams fill the div 7 vacancies (Uni, Modbury, PAOC), for they are stronger and more immune to the div 7 AGrade vs CGrade virus

# Pag stated that ROCs havent nominated a 4th side

# Salisbury get a chance to stay alive in div 7

Not bad, but i would structure D7 slightly different. Same teams, but when you play Salisbury West, your B-grade have the bye, and when you play Wingfield, your A-Grade has the bye. Football on every weekend and you don't have to split teams up to cater for Salisbury West and Wingfield.

Though, I don't think an A-Grade team like Wingfield should be playing D7R.

And if Henley have only nominated a C-Grade, they don't fit into D8.

Flinders Park nominating a D Grade.

Salisbury West to C1, Henley to Div 7, Flinders Park to Div 8 problem solved

Henley likely unable to field CGrade sides against agrade sides ever again, and likely now to be in C1 with only 1 side, there is still hope for a 4th side but numbers will have to improve rapidly

Salisbury West in C1 will kill them off

Flinders Park also likely refuse div 7 virus

but will update the blueprint

Can't see FP getting a D grade up. I could be wrong but can't honestly see them being able to get the numbers especially mid season when the higher grades start pillaging and leaving them with half a side.

What's the basis for that proposition?

FFS, you are being more annoying than usual today.

Blackwood just got turfed for not bringing in an extra side.

You also don't appear to have grasped the concept that your club has pulled their nomination of a 4th side.

Division 7 is not a virus.

Smarten up, or I swear to god I'll ask admin to change your password and not tell you.

Good work Marbles, after 31 proud years of having a D grade, your pea hearted mates have ruined the tradition!

Eh, I don't think it's much to do with being pea-hearted. Their C/D lads were an ageing group and it wouldn't surprise me if many had decided to retire after their D grade premiership last year.
