2015 Assocation Medals

Postby carey » Mon Aug 03, 2015 8:48 am

So its about that time of year when people start talking medal winners, Anyone have any standouts for the medal?

Going on things I've heard around the traps Rowe in Div 4 seems like he'll poll well, Hand in div 1 has apparently had a good year and is a proven vote getter.

Div 1- Hand (TTG)
Div 2- Burnett (Broadview)
Div 3- Sheedy (Athelstone)
Div 4- Rowe (NH)
Div 5- I Rate Bartoltti from Blackfrairs but never polls well, Maybe Matt Travis (PH) ???
Div 6- Ashby (Smithfield) Maybe as Lockleys seems very even. I rate Kennedy from (Lockleys) highly tho
Div 7- Weekly (MP) Goes alright, I don't know much about Houghton but surely they'll poll well?

Interesting to see peoples predictions
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

I reckon Cam, Josh and Jai will all share it around. The winner will be a standout from one of the other clubs.

Div 4 is a two-horse race IMO.

I see Whelan has been in kilburns best a fair bit, is the coach so umpires know him, and is a very good vote getter.

Yeh I'm guessing he was talking bout Rowe and Baker as a two horse race, I was throwing another name in the field. How has Armstrong from pooraka gone, know he played a couple of crows games.

Armstrong and Baker will both poll OK, they are clearly Pooraka's two best mids although different types, and Adams hant played a whole lot. Only won six games though, won't be enough for any of them.

Rowe will poll really well and is one of the two.

Has only played 7 games. So that's 21 votes. Probably win by 5 or 6. Although after Joe's umpiring on Saturday surely Michael would be a red hot chance.

Baker from Pooraka for me, very good footballer.

Blake Moser will poll well too and considering he has missed half the year.

Bergsma from phos in div 3. Sheed will poll well but have Allen taking too many to win. Golden grove have an even spread of good players but Blair would be our best shot imo.

In which grade????
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Bergs is a proven vote getter but think there may be some others that will take some votes from him. Connors from Pembroke may be a chance.
