I promised scottroo on the Hill of Adelaide Oval last year to go easy on CLG after he bought me a beer and I am a man of my word.Brodlach wrote:morell wrote:CLG to shake off the shackles and win on the last day.

I loved my premiership at Richmond but I would have loved for it to be played at a proper SAAFL ground. Looking forward to helping the club out tomorrow at the GF, absolute belting atmosphere at St.Marys.

Agreed, I won my first SAAFL premiership at St. Marys/Panther Park in 98 and it was awesome. I have since won more than half a dozen Gaelic Football GF's there and when the place is busy it's a great venue. It can be prone to extremely sh$tty conditions though and seems to attract a swirling gully type breeze that can be tough to negotiate. The surface is also a little undulating in areas. Excellent for spectators and brilliant to have rows of cars parked around the outside.

Yes, but in all seriousness.
I'd expect a huge crowd at PNU based on the fact there are 4 clubs who should have all and sundry from their clubs at the contest. Will be a brilliant atmosphere. Fair bit of passion in those lower division clubs as well. I would expect well over a thousand.
Gullys first final will have 1,500 I would think. 1,600 if you count the Goodwood supporters.
Kilburn had a huge following back in the day so I'd suggest them and the Magpies at Alberton might be as big as any.
