Not sure if anyone picked up the stat from Saturdays AFL Grand Final that Schoenmakers is TTG's first AFL winning premiership player, which came as a bit of a surprise to me, given their junior talent pool.

Who from your club has played in an AFL winning Premiership?

Hope Valley - Paul Puopolo (who was the only player NOT to shake the poor auskickers hand...Grrrrr)

You'd think he'd have the routine down-pat by now!

Going back in time Heath Grundy (2012 Swans ex-Modbury) and Tom Harley (2009 Cats ex-Walkerville) would be the most recent

Just looking through the NEMJFA list of drafted players from the last decade tells me not many premiership players have come from metropolitan Adelaide in that period.

Probably what happens when so many blokes are multiple premiership players over that period though

If we're expanding the question from SAAFL clubs it does. Andrew Mackie went there, but I think he was a boarder and originates from the South East.

Travis Varcoe from Smithfield also

We've had and still have kids who play school and club footy. Once they get to the higher yr levels they tend to focus more on school footy

wrong way around, he was an AFL premiership player that won a SAAFL flag ;)

Is he the only AFL premiership player to go on and win a SAAFL flag? Did Perrie play in an AFL premiership? I don't recall him doing so.

The Tuck fellow?

Mackie was never a boarder, grew up in Glenelg.
