Given that there's bugger all else to talk about, lets have a bit of fun with who may potentially make the open age team for 2016 to play VIC.

Obviously this will be depend on who stays, comes and goes but it it'll give us something to mull over for a while ;)

One idea would be for them to do what the AFL is trying with the International Rules and just select as many of the past season's Team of the Year as possible

Yeah, let them wait until they've played a year in the League first.

Put the game in September and pick the Kilburn side. Chics don't lose in September.

Ah I get it, Interstate Game, as in playing a team from interstate.

Calling it the State Team is a bit self indulgent as it is just an interleague match

not reall,y as each team is representing their state, like that State Country team - not sure it is a massive deal for anyone other than yourself

they also pick all Australian players as well.....http://www.adelaidefootball.com.au/saaf ... habetical/

so based on your definition, there has never been a game of state footy, as even the SANFL only represent one comp

sorry champ

You could argue that the SANFL is the peak body in the state, and certainly pre-1991 a rep team from the SANFL would have been the best players in the state, and as a result could justifiably be called a "State team"

C9AFL is not even close to any of that

Whatever you want to call it, just make sure you call us undefeated champions at it, because that's what we are :finga:
