Congratulations mate, good percentage of home grown talent there.

Oi! DTH, where's my like?

You didn't deny the figure DTH , used it to get the right players, rather than give it away like some clubs, which is good to see in this day and age.

Brighton also have a good underbelly with 30+ under 18's in that squad.

$40k in the player department well spent

Isn't that just over half of the salary cap?

Bloody huge for D3 though.

Obviously the other clubs don't value their players in that case.

Well done, that is a huge number of juniors staying on to play seniors, massive hats off, fantastic retention, says a lot about the club and how well the off field guys are working with the on filed guys. No easy task as most clubs in all divisions know.
I actually think the 36 out of 44 players is more impressive than the GF win, get the first part right the second part will come.

Congratulations to the brains trust, coaches, members, supporters and players. Dollars don't achieve long term success if you don't have all these lined up and working from the same team sheet.

Challenge will be to keep this occurring under the AdFL model

No chance of being true then lol

Still remember the day Kyle was playing cricket for Salisbury North about 6-7 years ago

I was captaining the EP a grade, we had a very young side, there was 2 of us over 25 and the rest were all 16-18 year old kids (most of which play a grade footy now)

I've gone to open the batting and Kyle has spent the first 15 overs telling anyone that will listen that if they can't beat this bunch of kindy kids that he will quit cricket and never play again. He went on and on and on about it!!!!

5 hours of cricket later we had hit 300 and bowled them out twice for 80 odd and 60 odd, with him making a pair iirc correctly

I heard he has played cricket since lol

Not sure how that could be possible really.

My sources tell me Mansell was on his way to the Ballarat Footy League.
Can't remember if it was Melton or South Melton, one of those 2 tho.

And not without a hefty fee I believe.

Earn your $$ in that league. Would be one of the best suburban/country leagues in Australia.
