PNU 18 55.25% playing Athelstone / TTG
Districts 18 55.00% playing PAOC / Henley
PAOC 18 54.84% playing Districts / ROCS

PNU - Athelstone do trouble them but they trouble TTG and PNU usually finish the season strongly (injuries problems but Giannini played on Saturday)
Districts - showdown with PAOC. At Park 9 where Districts dont usually win but should beat Henley at home
PAOC - showdown with Districts. Beat ROCS earlier but that means nothing

Anyone who gets two wins will guarantee finals
It is quite possible that this could come down to one win each, & % will determine who plays finals out of the three teams

ROCS will win this week, lock in top spot, then rest players in Rd 18 to gift PAOC a spot in the five, knocking out one of PNU or Districts in the process.
The college block always stick together.

Rather than helping out Princes, ROCS may be keen to see Port Districts miss out, given they have beaten them twice this year.

Uni v Henley is another big game this week. Relegation game for Uni. Win and they will stay up, lose and they will go down.

FWIW, I'd expect Districts to win both, meaning PAOC need to beat ROCs in the last and hope TTG knock off PNU and pick up a % point or two.

remember the outrage last time adelaide uni faced relegation, they even got studly cornes to fill in to get over the line

in 2007 when i was playing agrade, we played blacks at uni, and it was also a do or die for relegation, uni played their club song over the oval speakers before the game, in a ceremonial jargon of bs

a rewording :D

do people remember when uni faced relegation last time? it was the first time ever in their 100 year history or whatever. it was all over the news, graham cornes even put the boots on to give them a lift

before the first bounce in 2007 when we played them, their club officers were so in a panic that they played a recording of their club song over the oval, just to hopefully lift their team to the win.

they went to div 2 i believe in 2008?

Goodwood with a Big win over ROCS in terms of locking away the double chance.

Commane and Coad were barely sighted and O'Malley seems to have done a serious calf injury.

Relegation has been settled, as has I suspect, the top 5. However, plenty of interesting games this week which will shape the top 5.

ROCS have lost 2 of their last 3 and if they lose O'Malley, as reported by localfootyfan, on top of Holm, they are well and truly back to the field. They have to beat PAOC to guarantee top spot and that is no certainty. PAOC have to win by plenty and hope results go there way in other games. I can see them winning, but not by enough to play finals.

PNU v TTG should be a cracker. Gullies need to win to either guarantee a home final against Saints or steal the minor premiership from ROCS. PNU need to win to get a home elimination final against Port Districts. Getting a home final is a massive advantage, so plenty to play for.

Goodwood v Adelaide Uni. Saints have to win and hope TTG slip up against PNU. This game will be close, but I expect Saints to get up.

Port Districts v Henley. Port Districts are just about the form team in the competition and I expect them to beat Henley very comfortably. In fact, it will be a thrashing.
