Congrats to CLG on their wins, didn’t see the games myself but have heard they were scrappy affairs, not surprising there with the talent missing on both sides. I’m super proud of our lads, especially in the As. Nine forced changes (including a fair chunk of the experience we do have) from the side that beat Glenunga last week through work/unavailability/injuries, seven promotions from the B grade including two debutants, battled their asses off all the way.

CLG had 7 changes on top of what was already missing. After 5 heavy losses that was a big win for the club.

Salisbury lost themselves no admirers yesterday. It was an absolute battle from start to finish and we just happened to be the side in front when the siren sounded.

Has to be one of the most even seasons I’ve ever seen. If you’re off your game or have a couple out you can post to anyone.

Gepps Cross v Eastern Park GF

Huge ask for Eastern Park to make the finals.

Will need to win 4 out of the last 6 and hope that two of Mitcham, Pooraka or CLG don't win two more games, or Kilburn 3 more.

SMOSH (home)
Kilburn (home)
Glenunga (away)
CLG (home)
Edwardstown (away)
Pooraka (home)

Glenunga 62 (16)
Gepps 57 (14)
Edwardstown 53 (14)
Mitcham 51 (12)
Pooraka 48 (12)

CLG 44 (12)
Kilburn 51 (10)
SMOSH 43 (10)
Eastern Park 53 (7)
Salisbury 37 (6)

Results from around the grounds didn't help Eastern Park's finals aspirations, probably the worst outcome all round apart from the Mitcham game.

Glenunga's constitution was changed in 2016 to avoid having to do that anymore.

Anyone else wanna predict a final ladder at this stage?

Glenunga
Gepps
Edwardstown
Pooraka
Mitcham

Kilburn
Eastern Park
CLG
SMOSH
Salisbury

The top 4 are a small step above the rest (bar EP). Gonna be a tight finish between Mitcham, Kilburn and EP for mine. EP probs need to win 4 out of their next 5 and hope results fall their way. Mitcham and Kilburns best is good enough to mix with the top. Whoever gets relegated along with Salisbury is gonna be extremely unlucky.

Tough ask but don't rule Salisbury out from avoiding relegation. Have a look at their results from the last three weeks and they have put together a good body of work.

Needed to topple a Struggle CLG who were on the arse end of a 5 game losing streak.

Would need to win 4 out of 5 and hope other results favour them.

Mate, it's hard enough to pick 2 out of 5 winners each week in this div.

Have a look at the tipping comp and compare it to all the other divs.

Definitely the tightest division ive ever been involved in. On any given day anyone can beat anyone and just when you think one team is shot they pull out a win.

We have a big game this week wIth SMOSH who destroyed us by 78 points last time we played, so we cant afford to just cruise into this week thinking we a lock for a finals spot just yet.
